According to information from Qatar’s official QNA news agency, a plane carrying 25 tons of food, humanitarian aid and medical supplies from Qatar landed at Hamid Karzai International Airport.
In the news, it was noted that the Qatari humanitarian aid which has reached Afghanistan so far has reached 68 tons.
Hamid Karzai International Airport came under Taliban control after the United States withdrew its last troops from the country on August 31.
After the Taliban took control of the airport on September 1, a Qatar Airways plane flew the technical team to Kabul to investigate and reopen the airport. Later, on September 4 and 6, two planes carrying humanitarian aid and medical supplies from Qatar landed in Kabul.
The Taliban, who want the Hamid Karzai International Airport, which connects Afghanistan to the rest of the world, to be operational again, are discussing the issue with Turkey and Qatar.
