With the announcement by the Taliban that they have taken over the administration of Afghanistan, the Kabul airport, which has been in total chaos for days, is not on the agenda. Finally, images taken by American soldiers just before leaving Kabul’s Hamid Karzai airport, which was under Taliban control, emerged.
The images recorded by the helmet camera of a US soldier named Michael Markland in Afghanistan were shared on social media.
In the footage it is seen that a clash broke out between American soldiers and civilians who wanted to enter the airport, the soldiers threw smoke and gas bombs at the civilians and opened fire in the air to disperse the crowd, including children and babies.

The footage shows a civilian wounded in the melee carried by US soldiers on a metal ladder instead of a stretcher.
In the video, the soldiers were seen to have fun with each other doing graffiti, listening to music and cycling in their free time.
In images recorded with a helmet camera, another soldier destroys military and civilian vehicles and attempts to break open the building’s doors with a fire extinguisher.
It is among the images that the toilet bowls used by American soldiers are filled to the brim with garbage.
The American army, which occupied Afghanistan after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in the United States, withdrew its last soldiers on August 30, with the agreement and coordination with the Taliban.
