Joint training exercise of Greece and Egypt

Greek and Egyptian warplanes conducted joint training exercises.

According to the statement made by the Greek General Staff, 4 F-16 and one early warning and airborne control system aircraft from Greece, and 4 F-16 BLK 52, 2 aircraft from Egypt, were flown on Tuesday August 10, the FIR line from Athens and the FIR line from Cairo. RAFALE and a type E-2C (early warning system aircraft) participated in the aircraft.

The Greek and Egyptian warplanes taking part in the exercise were said to have used the 115th Air Base at Suda Airport.

It was noted that the training exercise, named “GDC EGY T15”, took place in two stages and was carried out within the framework of the military agreement between Greece and Egypt.
