With the withdrawal of the United States of its last soldier from Afghanistan, the 20-year period in the country has officially ended.
The Taliban, who hold power in many areas, including the capital Kabul, are now counting down to form a government.
However, the Taliban not only seized power, but also acquired advanced US-made weapons with the withdrawal of US and Afghan forces.
The most striking of these weapons is the advanced aircraft. Because, according to the latest report, the Taliban have 48 aircraft, including Black Hawks and A-29 attack planes.
The British Daily Mail newspaper wrote that the Taliban had more air force than some NATO member countries because of this.
According to the same report, the Taliban own more than a third of NATO member states, including Albania, Bosnia, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Slovenia.
In other words, the Taliban, which took over power after 20 years, has more military planes than 10 of NATO’s 30 members.

TURKEY IS IN THE TOP THREE!
The country with the most aircraft among NATO members was the United States with 13,000,233, followed by France with 1,057 parts and Turkey with 2,056 parts.
The Taliban had recently released photos of the $ 6 million Black Hawks and the $ 14 million Hercules transport plane seized for propaganda purposes.
WHAT WEAPONS DO THE TALIBAN HAVE?
According to US media, four years ago the United States gave Afghan forces 75,000 vehicles, including 208 planes and 4,700 Humvees, most of which are now in Taliban hands.
Among the equipment seized by the Taliban are Black Hawk helicopters and A-29 Super Tucano attack planes.
Experts say it is not possible to use advanced planes without training, and they point out that the Taliban’s capture of US equipment is an important propaganda tool.
In contrast, small arms seized by the Taliban are of greater concern. The United States has spent $ 83 billion on training and equipping Afghan security forces over the past 20 years.
