Franco was deemed worthy of the award given at the festival last year, but was unable to receive his award due to the outbreak of the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19).

The 2020 film New Order, directed, scripted and produced by Franco, was presented to moviegoers on the 5th day of the festival.
