In the southern Japanese town of Beppu, police arrested a man for stealing 730 pieces of lingerie from laundromats.

730 PIECES OF WOMEN’S UNDERWEAR FOUND

According to Business Insider information, a 21-year-old college student accused Tetsuo Urata, 56, of stealing 6 pairs of underwear that belonged to him.

When the police, who were at the Urata gate, found 730 pieces of underwear during a search of the house, the man had to confess his crime.

Police department spokesman Abema said: “We haven’t confiscated so many panties in years” noted.
