Bennett, who conducted investigations at Ben-Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, assessed the growing number of Kovid-19 cases in Israel and what action to take.
Stating that they assessed the increase in the number of daily cases in Israel as a “new wave of the epidemic,” Bennett announced that they would establish a Kovid-19 cabinet.
Noting that everyone in Ben-Gurion will wear a mask and that anyone coming from overseas will be tested for the Kovid-19, Bennett urged Israelis not to go overseas unless it is mandatory.
Stating that they can make changes in terms of returning to Israel or going abroad from overseas, Bennett called on children aged 12 to 15 to receive the Kovid-19 vaccine as well.

In Israel, which has managed to control the epidemic through vaccination and where Kovid-19 measures have started to be relaxed since February, the obligation to wear masks in open areas on April 19 and in closed areas on June 15 , with a few exceptions, has been lifted.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, 70 percent of new cases in Israel are from the Delta variant first identified in India.
The number of active cases in the country, which fell to 216 on June 6, rose to 434 with an increase in recent days.
